I have not updated this chapter in a couple of years; however, I have still been figuring out things related to the Second Coming of Jesus / the Rapture which I have been documenting in my Chapter 18 - Journal of Events. According to these findings, the Second Coming of Jesus / the Rapture may possibly occur on May 5, 2005 with the 7-year Tribulation Period beginning 10 days later on May 15, 2005 ending on December 21, 2012. Please read Chapter 18-5 for the latest information concerning this information and these dates.

Rosh Hashanah

Once again...
 
Much of the data in this chapter is also relevant (and in some cases more relevant) to this year as Rosh Hashanah occurs on September 27, 2003.
 
One of the topics discussed had to do with Mars, and it is interesting that exactly just one month ago on August 27, 2003, Mars passed the closest to Earth than it has in over 60,000 years.
 
And this year, just last week, instead of Julio, we had hurricane Isabel which means Devoted to God or God's Oath. Another interesting sign was the picture of the eye of Isabel with the Star of David in it. And what makes that even more interesting is the upcoming Harmonic Concordance on November 8-9, 2003 concerning the planetary alignment and the Star of David.
 
Another thing that has caught my attention concerns the sky view diagram of Leo on September 27 at 4:44 (the 2001 diagram is almost exactly the same for this year). In that diagram, Venus was in Leo, but this year, Jupiter is. Why that has caught my attention is that in just less than 2 hours from the time I am writing this, the spacecraft Galileo is set to impact with Jupiter. I do not know what the significance of that is, but I have learned that NASA is very esoteric in its timings and numberings.

Hoshana Rabah
September 27, 2002   

It has come to my realization that the data contained in this chapter actually lines up better this year than it did last. Last year, I believed that something might happen on Yom Kippur - known as Judgment Day - which occurred on September 27, 2001. At that time, I understood that God's final verdict is sealed on this day. My data therefore reflected this date.

However, as you will read, I then learned about Sukkot, and learned that God's final verdict is actually left open until the final day of Sukkot, on Hoshana Rabah. My data no longer fit.

This year, however, the data does fit. This year, Hoshana Rabah occurs on September 27, 2002.

I have left this chapter as is, but please keep this above information in mind as you read it.

On September 26/27, 2002 two things did happen.

Warnings to mankind regarding Changing Our Ways and God's Final Judgment?
   

Jeremiah 23

19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

1) Shortly before midnight, in the 11th Hour of September 26, 2002, the SenGALEse ferry Le Joola capsized and sank in a sudden, fierce, ten-minute Atlantic Ocean storm killing over 1000 people in Africa's worst marine disaster. "The boat went down so fast. It was so unbelievable - in just three minutes, the boat went down."
 
Joola... Do you see the connection to Juli?
 
 

2) At the same time, there was another storm in the Pacific Ocean.
   
The name of this tropical storm was JULIO... Do you see the connection to Juli?

I do believe that God is trying to tell us something, don't you?

No one really noticed  Juan. Attention was focused elsewhere on Isabel.
 
Even the front page of Saturday's Halifax paper did not give much warning of the possible impending danger with the headline Hurricane Juan chugs toward province.
   
But around midnight local time on September 28/29, Hurricane Juan slammed into Halifax and the surrounding coastal areas of Nova Scotia with tremendous force bringing winds reaching 143 km/h, torrential rains and a high storm surge causing a great deal of damage and two deaths.
 
There are many interesting things to notice about this hurricane as a Warning Sign:

• It occurred during Rosh Hashanah
• It occurred around midnight. This symbolizes that the 11th Hour is over. Time has run out.
• The designation of Hurricane Juan at the USA Today site is a15.
  a = 1 = The One = God
  a is the first letter of the alphabet. This symbolizes The Alpha.
  Decimal 15 = Binary 1111. This symbolizes The Omega. (See Chapter 13 - 11:11.)
  So... a15 symbolizes God as The Alpha and The Omega:
        Rev 22:13  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
• Juan hit in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area. Other "signs" are also connected to Halifax.
  • "The last time a hurricane-force storm scored a direct hit on Halifax was probably 40 years ago when hurricane Ginny blew through." (AOL News)
    40 years is a significant number relating to God and "signs."
  • On September 2, 1998 Swissair Flight 111 crashed 11 km of the coast of Nova Scotia near Halifax.
  • On August 11, 1999 a total solar eclipse occurred at 11:11 with a path 111 km wide.
    The eclipse began just off the coast of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
  • There is a theory that the Knights Templar brought the Holy Grail across the Atlantic Ocean to Oak Island which is just off the coast of Halifax. This theory even extends into another theory regarding the genealogy of Jesus Christ. (A great deal of interesting information regarding this can be found on the web.)
  • (I was conceived in Halifax, perhaps even on 11/11 at 11:11.
    This hurricane and I share the first two letters of our names - Juan / Juli.)

Rosh Hashanah - Yom Kippur
September 18-27, 2001
   

I would like to begin this chapter as I did the last...

"Before I begin this chapter,  I would like to emphasize that I do not know if anything will happen on this date. I cannot predict anything. All I wish to do is to share the information with you that I have figured out concerning this date."
 

But I will be honest with you. I believe it could. The evidence is overwhelming.
   

If it does, I am afraid that I have perhaps figured this out too late. It is only due to the tragic event of September 11th that various circumstances led me to this knowledge today. I have been trying to balance my emotions with logic in order to organize my thoughts and present this information in an organized and useful way.

I will try to summarize what I am going to try to show you in this chapter as the following information may perhaps seem confusing and disjointed, but it is all connected, so please bear with me...

• The purpose of this chapter is to show you that it is very possible that the Second Coming of Jesus / The Rapture may conceivably occur during September 18 - 27, 2001. These are the dates of the Jewish holidays Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur.
• I will try to explain the relevance of this period to the Second Coming.
• I will try to explain how the Second Coming is related to the Days of Noah, and how there may be a 7 day warning before this happens.
• I want to show you how this 7 day warning may have just occurred on September 11th with the tragic 'Attack on America'.
• And finally, I have just (September 15, 2001) figured out something astronomically significant about this time that I wish to show you. If you have read my previous three chapters, this information is directly linked to what I have previously figured out and described in these chapters. If you have not read these chapters, this information will not make much sense to you and you will not understand its profound signficance.
     

If you have read my previous chapters, especially Chapters 12-15, you will understand the significance of 11:11 and 4:44. With what I am about to show you, 4:44 is of great relevance, but I would first like to explain the events leading up to my figuring this out. There is so much to explain, I do not know where to start...

I will begin with information that others have discovered and discussed that I found through searching the Internet and then conclude with the astronomical evidence that I just figured out today.

Many people have believed, because of all the "Signs" which have occurred as described in the previous chapters, that the return of Jesus would happen this year in 2001. The Bible has been searched for clues and parallels which would make a link to the possible time (relating to the Jewish calendar/holidays/feasts) and very many valid connections have been made by very many diligent researchers and "watchers" who have been trying to follow the clues to figure this mystery out. So far, this time has not yet occurred, and when one possibility passes, focus turns to the next significant Jewish calendar event for clues.
 

The next significant time occurs next week. It is Rosh Hashanah which occurs on September 18, 2001 (Apparently it actually begins at sundown on the previous day on September 17th). Ten days later on September 27 is Yom Kippur. These ten days are commonly known as The Days Of Awe or The Days of Repentance.

I found the following interesting facts concerning this period by searching the Internet. Their symbolism and relevance to Jesus' return and The Rapture will be explained following:

• Rosh Hashanah begins on the first day of Tishri, the seventh month of the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur occurs ten days later. The ten days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are known as The Days of Awe or The Days of Repentance. They are a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and to repent before Yom Kippur, which is also known as Judgment Day. Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Jewish New Year. A time when the past year is finished and a new year begins. A fresh start - a new beginning - a cycle has completed and begins once again.
   
• The common greeting during this time is (translated), "May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year." This is because one of the themes of these Days of Repentance is the concept that God has books that He writes our names in, writing those who will live and who will die, who will have a good life and who will not, for the next year. These books are written on Rosh Hashanah but our actions (repentance, prayer, good deeds) during these Days of Repentance can alter God's decree.  But, on Yom Kippur, these books are sealed.
   
• One of the most important observances of this holiday is the blowing of the shofar. The shofar is a ram's horn which is blown somewhat like a trumpet. The blowing of the shofar is a call to repentance.
     
• The Shabbat that occurs in this period is known as Shabbat Shuvah - The Sabbath of Return (return to God; return of Jesus?).
  
     

Trumpet

 
I had been reading many articles on the Internet discussing the possibility that The Rapture might occur on Rosh Hashanah. Some of the reasons include the connections between the blowing of the trumpet during Rosh Hashanah and the blowing of the trumpet during the time of Jesus' return, as shown in the following scriptures:
   
   

• Matthew 24:30   And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
                            and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,
                            and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven
                            with power and great glory.
                      31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet,
                            and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds,
                            from one end of heaven to the other.
     
• 1 Corinthians 15:50  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood
                                  cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
                                  neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
                             51 Behold, I show you a mystery;
                                  We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
                             52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
                                  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
                                  and we shall be changed.
   
• 1 Thessalonians 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
                                    with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
                                    and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
                              17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
                                    with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
                                    and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The Days of Noah & The 7 Day Warning

 
These discussions also include the time of Jesus' return being compared to the Days of Noah as also stated in many scriptures and the relevance of the 7 Day Warning:
 
     

• Genesis 6:5   And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
                       and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
                 11  The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
                 12  And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt;
                       for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
                 13  And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me;
                       for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold,
                       I will destroy them with the earth.
   
• Genesis 7:4   For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days
                       and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy
                       from off the face of the earth.
                 10  And it came to pass after seven days,
                       that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
       
  
•  Matthew 24:37   But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
                      38   For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking,
                             marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
                      39   And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;
                             so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
       
• Luke 17:26  And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
                27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,
                      until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came,
                      and destroyed them all.
                28  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought,
                      they sold, they planted, they builded;
                29  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone
                      from heaven, and destroyed them all.
                30  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
     

   
September 11, 2001  -  "America's Day of Terror "
     

Now, this 7 days has (had?) great significance. In these Internet discussions, people were asking, "If The Rapture occurs on Rosh Hashanah, will there be a "sign" - a warning - (as was in The Days of Noah) 7 days beforehand, and if so, what will it be?"

minus 7 days     = September 11, 2001  (The tragic day of the "Attack On America"')

"WAS THIS THE SIGN?!" everyone has been asking.

"Not often do we Earthbound observers get a good look at Mars. It's a small planet to begin with, and it spends most of its time far away. Usually it's just a tiny, fuzzy orange blob in the eyepiece. The only time we get a good look at its surface markings, clouds, dust storms, and changing polar caps is during the months around its oppositions, which come a little more than two years apart. And not all Mars oppositions are created equal. The best ones come in bunches of two or three that repeat in a cycle 16 years long. Now, after a decade-long dearth of close Mars apparitions, one of those bunches is beginning again. Mars is heading toward a June 13th opposition, when it will be not far from the perihelion of its orbit, its closest to the Sun. As a result Mars will come unusually close (67 million kilometers on June 21st) and attain an unusually large apparent diameter of 20.8 arcseconds — the closest and largest it has been since 1988. Already Mars is shining big and bright in the early morning sky, inviting telescopes its way with an apparent diameter surpassing 10" by March 29th. It will remain larger than 16.2", bigger than it ever got at its last opposition two years ago, for nearly three months, from May 13th until August 7th. Mars won't shrink back below 10° until October. For observers everywhere, the red planet will be the highlight of the sky this spring and summer."

NOTE:  On August 26-27 of 2003, Mars passed the closest to Earth than it has in over 60,000 years. 
 
   

11 Connections   
   

Much information has also been circulating on the Internet concerning all the connections to the number 11 with this tragic event (relating to the information in previous chapters concerning 11:11).  I will summarize some of these for you in case you are not aware:
   

• Occurred on September 11
• September 11 is the 254th day of the year:  2+5+4 = 11
• After September 11 there are 111 days left to the end of the year
• 9th month / 11th day =  911  (This is the emergency HELP number) (9+1+1 = 11)
   
• The twin towers of the World Trade Center look like a huge number 11
• The towers had 110 floors: 1+1+0 = 11
   
• The first plane to hit the WTC was Flight 11
• There were 81 passengers and 11 crew for a total of 92 people (9+2 = 11)
• The second plane to hit the WTC, Flight 175, carried 56 passengers (5+6 = 11) and 9 crew for a total of 65 people (6+5 = 11)
• The plane that crashed into the Pentagon was Flight 77 (7 x 11)
• Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania carried 44 people (4 x 11)     
     
• The State of New York was the 11th state added to the Union
• New York City - 11 letters
   

       
There is a great deal of skepticism regarding these numerical connections to 11, but it should be noted that there have also been other recent tragedies with connections to this number which should provide further evidence that this connection is not merely a coincidence:   
   

• On September 2, 1998, Swissair Flight 111 crashed 11 km off the coast of Nova Scotia killing all 229 on board.
  The type of airplane was an MD-11.   
         
• On August 12, 2000, the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk sank killing all on board.
  There were 111 crewmen, 5 officers, and 2 designers.
  The Kursk carried VA-111 torpedos which are believed could be the cause of the explosions.
  The three explosions occurred at 11:29:34, 11:31:48, and 11:44 pm - in the 11th Hour

Astronomy Evidence

   
These were some of the events and some of the information which caused me to want to do some more research on how Rosh Hashanah might be the time of Jesus' return and The Rapture...
   

While I read and learned about Rosh Hashanah, I also learned about Yom Kippur and the ten days between, and how Yom Kippur was related to Judgment Day.  I thought to myself, if The Rapture is going to occur during this time, it would make more sense to me that it would occur on Yom Kippur rather than on Rosh Hashanah, as people would then have the 10 days to repent and change their ways, giving God the 10 days to make His final decision on Judgment Day.

I decided to go to my astronomy computer program, Redshift 3, to "see" if I could "see" anything interesting that might catch my eye. (If you have not read my previous chapters (especially Chapters 13 - 15) prior to this point, it is important that you do so now as the following information will not make much sense or have any significance to you if you do not.)
 

My plan was as follows:
   

• I will set the date to September 27, 2001 (the date of Yom Kippur)
  Note: September 27, 2002 is the date of Hoshana Rabah
  Note: September 27, 2003 is the date of Rosh Hashanah
• I will set the location to Cairo (see previous chapters for reason)
• I will set the direction facing East (as if I were the Sphinx - see previous chapters for reason)
• I will start with 4:44 a.m., then 11:11 a.m., then 4:44 p.m., and finally 11:11 p.m. (see previous chapters for reason)
   
   

   
I was shocked , astounded, and amazed - as I always am - at my discovery. I did not need to go past my first attempt of 4:44 a.m. to find what I was half expecting and even afraid that I might find - the familiar sight of Leo having  just completely risen above the eastern horizon with Regulus aligned due East.

And not only this, but there is another astronomical event - sign - occuring at this time which verifies the significance of this information. Please read the following scripture (This scripture is also referred to at the end of Chapter 15):

                         which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
                      2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
                      3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

                      5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
                      6 And at midnight there was a cry made,
                         Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
                      7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
                       8 And the foolish said unto the wise,
                          Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
                       9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you:

                          and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage:
                          and the door was shut.

And can you guess what constellation has just risen above the eastern horizon at exactly midnight during this time?

If you ask, "Why is this significant?" then you have not read my previous three chapters. And if you have, I hope you will believe as I do that this is indeed profoundly significant.
 

I would like to end this chapter the same way I ended my last one...

"I cannot offer any explanation as to why I have figured any of this out. All I know is that I seem to be figuring things out. A little at a time. I cannot predict anything based on these findings, but I offer this information to you for your consideration.

Personally, I do believe that I must be figuring these things out for a reason."

 

 
Actually, I  know that I am. God has been an ever-present presence in my life, especially in the last three years as I explain in Chapter 11, directly and indirectly affecting my thoughts, actions, and life in ways that you would never believe unless you were me, and, sometimes, even I find them hard to believe.  

7:17

I wish to tell you about one more thing that I just realized this morning while making breakfast (September 16th). As explained previously, seeing certain number combinations has been a major part of this experience for me, especially the numbers 11:11, 4:44, and 3:33. My son (who is currently 11) has also been affected by this experience. During the past year, he mentioned that he had been seeing the combination of 7:17 a great deal. After he mentioned this to me, I too started seeing it, but I could not make any connection to what it could mean other than it being a reverse image. Then, this morning as I was making breakfast, I glanced at the clock and it was 7:17 and I suddenly made the connection to its possible significance:  It is a date... The 7th month, the 17 day... September 17th - the beginning of Rosh Hashanah!! (Remember, that Rosh Hashanah begins on the first day of Tishri - the seventh month of the Jewish calendar!)

   
Perhaps just one more clue or message from God that Jesus' return may indeed occur very soon.  
 
 
   

(For those of you who have been following this web-site, I hope you will understand that this "journey" has been - and still is - a learning experience for me. I do not have all the answers nor do I profess to, but as I figure new things out that I believe may be relevant, I add them to this paper. It is a journey that I wish to share with those who are interested.)
  
        
     

After Yom Kippur (2001) passed, my thoughts turned back to the above 7:17 information. At the time, it had bothered me that I had used the 7th month of the Jewish calendar, but the 17th day of the Gregorian calendar. However, as the 17th seemed to "fit" with the beginning of Rosh Hashanah on September 17th, I did not dwell on this inconsistency for long. Since the time period of Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur passed without event, my thoughts returned to this inconsistency and I wondered what fell on the 17th day on the Jewish calendar. In researching this, I have now learned about Sukkot. I had previously read that God's final judgment occurred on Yom Kippur, but I have since learned that this final verdict is left open through God's mercy until the final day of the seven day period of Sukkot on the day known as Hoshana Rabah.  Whether 7:17 has any relevance to this time period, I do not know, however I will add this new information that I have since learned.
   

 
   
Sukkot

Sukkot begins on the 15th day of Tishri. It is also known as The Feast of Booths, The Feast of Tabernacles, and The Feast of Harvest. (The Jewish calendar is a lunar calendar with each month beginning on a New Moon. Sukkot, which begins on Tishri 15, falls on the Full Moon, which is also called the Harvest Moon and perhaps partly why Sukkot is also known as The Feast of Harvest.)

Sukkot means "tabernacles, booths, or temporary huts" and refers to the temporary dwelling places of the Israelites during their forty-year period of wandering through the desert following their exodus from Egypt. During this time they were dependent upon God for their survival. Today, they reenact and remember this time by building a sukkah (temporary dwelling) in which the family lives as much as possible during this week of Sukkot. The festival emphasizes the faith that God provides for man's needs and, in return, man's gratitude to God. The sukkah is built after Yom Kippur and although the verdict of God's judgment is sealed on Yom Kippur, this verdict is left open until the final day of Sukkot - Hoshana Rabah - giving men a "last chance" to atone for their sins by seeking forgiveness and expressing faith and gratitude towards God. The two days following Sukkot, Shmini Atzeret and Shimchat Torah, culminate this period of celebration of renewal and thanksgiving. 
 
 
NOTE:

Perhaps the information that I would most like to draw attention to is that according to the above information, God's final judgment does not occur on Yom Kippur as I had stated previously, but on Hoshana Rabah, the last day of Sukkot.

Tomorrow is October 10th. It is the final day of the Jewish celebration period of repentance, thanksgiving, and renewal as described above.

October 10th is the 10th month and 10th day of the Gregorian calendar... 10:10.

10:10 has also been a number that I have seen many, many times and wondered about its significance.

I am adding this because in the past few days, I have continued to see 7:17 several times, even though both possible reasons I had thought of have passed without event. I keep asking, "Why? What does it mean?" but cannot figure it out.

Then tonight, as I was watching the weather station, the time of tomorrow's sunrise appeared on the screen... 7:17. Of course this caught my attention, and already having October 10th - 10:10 - on my mind, I have decided to add this information to this paper. Whether it means anything or not, I do not know.

I have continued to see 7:17, although all three (now) reasons that I mentioned above have all passed without event. Within the past week, this number has also been a topic in an internet 11:11 discussion group so it is significant that others are seeing this number as well. 

I have racked my brains trying to figure out its possible meaning. "It can't be a date because both dates have passed. It can't be a time because that time has passed too." But then something occurred - or will occur tonight - that made me think of something.

Tonight the time changes! The clocks go back one hour!

I wondered, "When will the sun rise again at 7:17?"

I got out my computer astronomy program Redshift to investigate this and was amazed at my finding. I plugged in the latitude and longitude of where I live and continued to forward the date day by day until I came to the date of the next sunrise occurring at 7:17. This will happen on November 11th, 2001! Why is this significant? Because it is 11/11!

Again, whether or not this means anything only time will tell... 11/11 at 7:17 to be exact!

Since I am updating this chapter,  I will add something here that I figured out last year regarding the 717.
 
I had been thinking that 717 was related to a time like 7:17 or a date like July 17.  While researching something else, I realized that July in some other languages like German and Dutch is JULI, which is my name. (Juli is usually spelled with an e - Julie - but mine is not.)
 
This made me think that maybe the numbers related to certain individuals:
   

• 7 relating to Juli
• 1 relating to GOD who is THE ONE
• 7 relating to Jesus
  

7 - 1 - 7  . . .   Jesus - GOD - Juli

 
 
The reason/connection has to do with GOD and THE WAY:
 
1) Jesus taught and showed The Way in words and by example:
      

• John 14:6
  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
  No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
      
• John 8:12
  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world:
  He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
     
• Psalm 23:1-3
  The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

December 21, 2012 = 8th of Tevet, 5773
   

In Chapter 13 I discuss the significance of this date. To summarize:

• December 21, 2012 is "The End" of the Mayan calendar and many believe it is also the date of "The End."
   
• In Chapter 13 I discuss how we may currently be in the "11th Hour" and how 11:11 relates to December 21, 2012:  It takes the sun 25,920 years to complete its cycle through all 12 constellations (Ages) of the Zodiac. Each Age is therefore 2160 years. If the Age of Pisces began in Year 0 (birth of Jesus) and you convert this Age of 2160 years into a clock format with each hour thus representing 180 years, then 11:00 began in 1980 and 11:11 coincides with December 21, 2012. (Please see Chapter 13 for a more detailed explanation.)
     
• On December 21, 2012 the constellation of Leo has completely risen over the eastern horizon (view from The Sphinx) at exactly 11:11 p.m. (computer astronomy program Redshift).
   
• December 21, 2012 is also the date of the Winter Solstice. The Winter Solstice occurs at exactly 11:11 a.m. Universal Time (computer astronomy program Redshift).
     
• "It has long been recognized that the main numerical factor in the design of the Great Pyramid, and indeed of the Giza necropolis as a whole, is the prime number 11." (The Message Of The Sphinx) 
     
  • In numerology, December 21, 2012 = 12/21/2012 = 1 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 2 = 11
  • 11th Hour ...    December 21, 2012 = 11:11
    

While I was learning about the relevance of the Jewish calendar and holidays, my thoughts turned again to December 21, 2012 and I wondered what date on the Jewish calendar it would fall. I located a date calculator on the Internet and found that December 21, 2012 = 8th of Tevet, 5773.
   
I wondered what the significance of the 8th of Tevet is to the Jewish people so researched this on the Internet and found that Tevet is known as the "Month of Anguish" and that three fast days are observed - the 8th, 9th, and 10th - in commemoration of three major calamities which befell the People of Israel. (Note that the first occurs on the 8th of Tevet.)
   
If I read correctly, on this date three major tragic events are commemorated:   

• the day the Golden Calf was made
• the Destruction of the First Temple
• the day the Torah was translated into Greek (a day of sorrow for Israel)

Also note that Tevet is the 10th month of the Jewish calendar and that the 10th of Tevet is therefore 10/10, perhaps relating to my 10:10 question mentioned earlier?

I found it interesting and possibly significant that December 21, 2012 will fall on the Jewish calendar during this Time of Tragedy so decided to add this information to this paper.
